Happy New Year everyone.

A New Year and a new feature on my website. Yes, I am now attempting to blog from time to time to keep you all up to date on what goes on here at LCL Design. I hope you will enjoy it.

First post of the year will be my small but very enjoyable job I did over the last two days. I rescued 3 G-Plan chairs and brought them back to life and up to date by producing a new seat base, filling and top fabric. The fabric came from Larsen, Colfax & Fowler Group, and had already been back coated so they now comply with UK current regulations. The geometrical pattern complements the style of the chair well. Hopefully, they will find a new home and will be well and truly loved. The wood itself was in good enough condition and the old brown fabric worked well with the chair only a bit dated which was why I decided to use the same colour but adding a modern touch with the pattern.
